UPDATE: STATE POLICE ID 2 BODIES LOCATED IN THE GENESEE RIVER

The New York State Police, Troop A, Batavia, N.Y. in conjunction with Troop E, Canandaigua N.Y. and the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office are updating the investigation of two missing brothers. On February 21, 2012 David W. King Sr. age 54 and his brother Michael A. King age 46 both of 3481 Batavia-Oakfield Townline Rd, Batavia, NY were reported as missing to SP Batavia. As a result of the investigation it was determined they were last seen on the I-390 northbound overpass which crosses the Genesee River on February 19, 2012.
On March 20, 2012 a New York State Police aviation unit located two individuals floating in the Genesee River which were recovered and transported to the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office. On today’s date both victims were identified as being Michael A. King and David W. King Sr. by the Monroe County Medical Examiners Office. At this time the investigation is continuing.
