The town of Carrollton’s vote to put its town supervisor on paid leave was not legal. Town Supervisor David Frederick is currently facing burglary and unlawful imprisonment charges and he’s reportedly told the Board he will not step down. This week, the Board voted to suspend Frederick , with pay...but it discovered Thursday it didn’t have the legal authority to do so. The Town’s attorney notified the Board.
