A 16-year old boy has been arrested after police say he claimed to have a bomb on a Wellsville school bus. The bus was about to head from the BOCES campus in Belmont back to Wellsville. The bus was stopped by police on route 19 in Belmont while law enforcement checked things out. The boy was detained at the Belmont campus. State Police investigator Jack Migliore said the boy just made a stupid remark that ended up getting him in trouble. There was never a threat to the 35 students on board the bus. The teen was charged with falsely reporting an incident. Migliore said what wasn’t a big deal 20 years ago..is a big deal now.
