In Allegany County…the Rushford elementary campus will close in just over three months. The Cuba-Rushford school has made the decision in an attempt to stay a multi-million budget gap. The 75 or so students will now be bused to the Cuba campus…and parents are not happy. It’s a similar scenario in Olean. The city school board recently voted to close two elementary buildings to save money.
