The New York State Police will be holding a press conference at the State Police Clarence Barracks located at 9825 Main St. Clarence, NY 14031 on Monday March 26th, 2012 at 10 am. This will commemorate the first anniversary of Trooper Kevin P. Dobson’s death. SP Clarence was Trooper Dobson's assigned station.
Major Christopher L. Cummings, Troop “A” Commander will address the media.
Major Cummings will introduce Trooper Sean Pierce who recently graduated from the New York State Police K-9 Academy with his partner "Dobber" who is named in honor of Trooper Dobson.
It is the tradition of the New York State Police to name all of its K-9 after State Police members who have fallen in the line of duty.
