Labeling him a predicate felon, a Cattaraugus County judge has sentenced an Olean man to three years in prison on a drug conviction. 43-year old Richard Covert received his sentence after he was convicted for attempting to sell cocaine in Olean last February.

A 23-year old man has taken a plea deal in Cattaraugus County court and admitted his role in a 2009 burglary and robbery in Farmerville. Nathan Clester...a current jail inmate...admitted he robbed a woman at gun point... He was hauled back from Florida where he also allegedly pointed a gun at a woman during a road incident. He’ll be sentenced May 7th.

A 25-year old man is headed to state prison for his role in an armed robbery at The Shop restaurant in Yorkshire. 25-year old Paul Andolina of Delevan has been sentenced to 1-3 years. Prosecutors say Andolina...armed with a shotgun and with help from two others, robbed the business last January. He’ll also be under three years post-release supervision.
