Pennsylvania’s Department of Environmental Protection has documented 129 violations by gas drillers in McKean County during the past three months. Officials say they’ve also started 23 enforcement actions. Most of the violations centered around clerical and erosion issues. Many have already been corrected. Of the 129, only two dealt with Marcellus Shale wells in Norwich Township.
