Police in Allegany have confirmed to the Times Herald that they are investigating an alleged assault involving an 18-year old St. Bonaventure student. Ed Caraccioli was treated for facial injuries at Olean General. Police say they were told the young man was assaulted by a group of people early Sunday at the intersection of Seventh and Union Streets. Police have said their investigation is ongoing…there have been no arrests so far. Bonaventure officials say they are cooperating with police.
