Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for New Location of Kane Community Hospital Home Health Care and Occupational Medicine

The Kane Area Development Center is pleased to announce a ribbon cutting for the new location of Kane Community Hospital Home Health Care and KCH Occupational Medicine.  The ceremony is planned for Thursday, February 16 at 1:15 p.m.

KCH Home Health Care moved last month from the Summit Medical Park to 198 N. Fraley Street (Route 6 West), across the street from the Hospital.   KCH will be hosting a public open house in the near future for their newly renovated location.

KCH Home Health is the only Home Health Care/visiting nurse program associated with Kane Community Hospital.  KCH works with UPMC Hamot affiliated home care agencies to provide additional services such as Diabetic Education.

KCH Home Health care is hospital-based, allowing the resources of the entire hospital to be accessed to support you at home.  KCH offers skilled nursing care, diabetes counseling, nutrition and wellness counseling, pediatric nursing, wound and ostomy care, IV therapy, tube feedings, catheters, continence care, rehabilitation Services (Physical, Occupational and Speech therapies), home health aide, end of life care, social services and telehealth.

KCH Home Health Care not only bridges the care from hospital to home but also plays a major role in community healthcare.  They offer hundreds of free blood pressure clinics, stroke assessments and other special screenings throughout the year in the communities served by KCH clinics.

The KCH Occupational Medicine Program offers employers custom health care services to meet the needs of their employees.  Many of the services offered include CDL Physicals, Company Physicials, Drug Screens and Collections, Breath Alcohol Testing, Vaccines, Basic Vision and Hearing Screens, TB Testing, and Sprirometry Testing.  The new location offers longer business hours at a convenient location to meet the needs of our local businesses.
