A new trial is expected to begin this morning for 47-year old Johnnie Gale Lee…the former Mount Jewett man who was found guilty in 2009 of raping three young girls. The retrial was ordered…in part…based upon testimony from a now discredited forensics nurse. Lee is currently in federal custody…serving time for an unrelated child pornography conviction. Lee also served time for the 1982 murder of a Port Allegany woman. Court is expected to be gaveled into session at 8:30am.
