The Kane Cheerleaders traveled to the Penn State Behrend Spirit Against Cancer Cheerleading competition on Saturday and came home with 2nd place and the Spirit Award. For the second week in a row, the Kane team came 2nd to a strong Harbor Creek High School team.
Coach Comments: We had a much better week with our stunts and gymnastics, but our focus was not there in the small details. Unfortunately, we had some very big mental mistakes on the floor with some transitions and exits from stunts. At this time of year, those types of mistakes can't happen. We will be working real hard this week on fixing those mistakes and continue to add more difficulty in our stunts. Our ultimate goal is to peak in our routine by Nationals, but we still need to keep improving along the way. This coming weekend is the next step with the District IX Invitational and our Regional competition for Nationals.
