PRESS  RELEASE


Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that Sheriff’s Deputies arrested the following individuals on Monday, February 6, 2012:

Claudie V. Goodenow, 29, of 11797 Lapp Road, Fillmore, with the assistance of the New York State Police, on an Allegany County Family Court Warrant for Failing to Obey a Child Support Order. Goodenow was initially stopped by Fillmore based State Police for Traffic Infractions in the Town of Hume.  Troopers transported Goodenow from the scene of the stop to the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office where he was turned over to Deputies for Processing. Goodenow was then transported to the Town of Angelica Court where he was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail on $5000 cash bail or $10000 Insurance Bond. He is scheduled to appear in Allegany County Support Court on March 22nd.

Luke D. Westfall, 26, of 1032 Siloam Road, Farmersville Station, on a Violation of Probation Warrant issued out of Allegany County Court.  Having been convicted in Allegany County Court on December 7, 2011 for Criminal Possession and Sales of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree, Westfall was sentenced to 6 months incarceration at the Allegany County Jail followed by 5 years probation.  Recently, Westfall violated the conditions of his probation and absconded to unknown whereabouts. Deputies, having received information about where he was staying, located him at a residence on Lapp Road in Fillmore where they took him into custody. Westfall is currently being held at the Allegany County Jail without bail awaiting Arraignment on the Violation of Probation in Allegany County Court.
