Press Release from Allegany County Sheriff 

Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that on February 4th, 2011, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Jasmin R. Schurr, age 24, of 7293 North Branch Road, Apartment #6, Friendship, on a Violation of Probation Warrant issued out of Allegany County Court.  Having been arraigned in Allegany County Court on December 9, 2011 on 2 counts of Criminal Possession and Sales of a Controlled Substance in the 5^th Degree, Schurr was released at that time to the Allegany County Probation Department on Pre-Trial Release Supervision.  Recently, Schurr allegedly violated the conditions of her Pre-Trial Release and absconded to unknown whereabouts. Deputies, having seen Schurr look out the window of her apartment as they arrived, located her hiding within her residence where they took her into custody. Schurr is currently being held at the Allegany County Jail without bail awaiting Arraignment on the Violation of Probation in Allegany County Court. Further charges are pending.
