Jeff Alevy is the CEO of Olean’s YMCA…tomorrow night he’ll be in Wellsville to speak with North Main Street residents and beyond about a proposed new YMCA facility in Wellsville, in a residential neighborhood behind the Trinity Luthern Church. Residents there seem to embrace the notion of a YMCA…but concerns have been raised about its planned residential location. The Zoning Board of Appeals in Wellsville is still pondering whether or not to grant permission for construction. Tomorrow, Alevy and church officials will hold a public meeting to answer questions. The public meeting is at the church at 470 North Main Street in Wellsville…7pm Tuesday.
