They’ve come to terms…the Smethport Area School Board has voted to approve a new three-year deal with the Smethport Area Education Association. The contract is retroactive to last August and runs through most of 2014. The agreement affects 77 teachers, who gave their okay to the plan last week. Over the three year contract, teachers will see an average pay raise of about 2.4% .
