State Police activity

State Police from the Machias station tell us they’ve arrested 35-year old Kelly Blair of Cuba. Troopers said the original complaint stemmed from an incident in Yorshire. Blair…charged with Criminal Contempt and Criminal Trespass…both misdemeanors. Blair was released to answer the charge in court at a later date.

State Police said a Bolivar woman escaped injury when her car crashed during snowy conditions on I-86 at exit 24 in Allegany. Troopers said the driver was 21-year old Justine Cole…no tickets were issued…Two injury accidents were reported a short time later. 30-year old Samantha Marvin of Belmont and 21-year old Jasmyne Waller of North Carolina were banged up when their cars crashed on county routes in Belmont & Friendship.

State Police say a Ceres man has a date with a judge. Troopers yesterday arrested 59-year old Robert Doxey charging him with petit larceny for an incident in Bolivar.

Two Cattaraugus County teens are headed to court to answer felony charged. Troopers arrested Matthew Grimes of Franklinville and Tanya Brehm of Machias…both 18 years old. They were both charged with 2nd degree burglary.
