The state Senate and Assembly districts released Thursday are great news for the region. That what Sen. Cathy Young told The Post-Journal. Young says it keeps the Southern Tier counties together . Assemblyman Joe Giglio loses Chautauqua county though he will continue to represent Cattaraugus and Allegany counties, which keeps those two counties whole. The plan also calls for adding one state senator and creates an Asian majority district in NYC.
