Power outages across the region from wild winds

A powerful cold front raced across the Twin Tier last night, dropping temps more than 20 degree’s. Wild winds knocked down trees and power lines in NY and PA. As of 5am, 1900 National Grid customers in Cattaraugus & Chautauqua counties were without power. NYSEG reported 113 customers in the dark. The utilities say most customers should have service restored by mid-morning. Winds were clocked last night at 39mph in Bradford, 45 in Wellsville, 40 in Hinsdale and 67 in Buffalo.
