Olean stabbing suspect-next stop...likely a Grand Jury

A Grand Jury is the likely next stop for the man accused of stabbing three Olean men last weekend. 23-year old Emanuel Mendez-Ortiz of Jamestown remains in the county jail this morning.  He allegedly stabbed the men outside a bar on Coleman Street. The victims sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Mendez-Ortiz is currently charged with three felony counts of assault. When the Grand Jury convenes in the coming weeks, it’s unknown if they’ll be presented with more serious charges for consideration.
