Inmate in Steuben County Jail arrested for Criminal Contempt 2nd

On Wednesday, the New York State Police in Bath arrested Richard E. VanGorden, age 38, for Criminal Contempt 2nd. VanGorden is currently incarcerated in the Steuben County Jail where he violated an order of protection by attempting to contact a victim in his pending Attempted Murder 1st case. VanGorden was arraigned before Bath T/J Chauncy Watches and committed back to jail on an additional $5000.00 cash bail. He is to re-appear in Bath Town Court on January 25 at 3:00 P.M.
