State Police have released the name of the man who died while driving a bus in Franklinville Wednesday. Troopers said 50-year old Barry D. Tyler of Olean was pronounced dead at Olean General Hospital. Investigators say Tyler was driving a First Transit bus carrying seven adults with disabilities when the bus veered off Mt. Pleasant Avenue and struck a tree. One passenger sustained a minor knee injury and was treated at Olean General. An autopsy is scheduled for today…but State Police tell us they believe Tyler suffered a medical event which c aused the bus to go out of control.
