Cattaraugus County District Attorney Court Report

Lori Pettit Rieman, Cattaraugus County District Attorney, reported the following activity in Cattaraugus County Court on Monday, January 30, 2012:

     JUSTIN R. IPPOLITO, d/o/b 1/9/1987, of Yorkshire, New York, was sentenced to a term of 5 years probation, restitution and assessed a mandatory State Surcharge for his conviction of Attempted Forgery in the Second Degree, a class E felony.  The incident occurred on or about December 8, 2010, in the Town of Yorkshire, when the defendant attempted to forge a signature while using another person’s unemployment benefit card. 

     ADAM GERLAND, d/o/b 04/01/1990, of Olean, New York, was arraigned and entered a plea of not guilty in connection to an indictment handed up by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury which charged him with two counts each of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, class B felonies, and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, class B felonies.  The Indictment charged that on two separate occasions, November 18, 2010, and December 1, 2010, in the City of Olean, he knowingly and unlawfully possessed and sold a narcotic drug.  This matter has been adjourned 45 days for motions.

     ROBERT PARKS, a/k/a ROBERT HARRIS-PARK, d/o/b 02/26/1987, of Olean, New York, was arraigned and entered a plea of not guilty in connection to an indictment handed up by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury which charged him with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, class B felonies, and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, class A misdemeanor.  The Indictment charged that on November 7, 2011, in the Town of Allegany, he knowingly and unlawfully possessed a narcotic drug with intent to sell it and possessed a controlled substance.  This matter has been adjourned 45 days for motions.


     JOSE A. FEBLES, d/o/b 09/08/1968, of Olean, New York, was arraigned and entered a plea of not guilty in connection to an indictment handed up by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury which charged him with Burglary in the Second Degree, a class C felony; Burglary in the Third Degree, a class D felony; Possession of Burglar Tools, a class A misdemeanor, and Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor.  The Indictment charged that on or about and between November 30, 2011 and December 1, 2011, in the City of Olean, he knowingly entered or remained unlawfully in a dwelling with the intent to commit a crime therein; possessed burglar tools and stole property.  This matter has been adjourned 45 days for motions.
