Bolivar-Richburg school dealing with Chickenpox outbreak

In Allegany County…administrators at Bolivar-Richburg Central School are closely monitoring an outbreak of Chickenpox. So far, five students have been affected. Several other students have been kept home by their parents. The District reached out to the county health department for guidance…in addition, letters have been sent to all parents telling them what to look for.

  1. How many of those kids weren't properly vaccinated against chicken pox? TWO doses is what is needed. Another article mentioned that some Dr's don't give the second dose. It's a shame that the Health Care Providers didn't adequately protect those kids. Now the entire community has to pay the price.
