Anticipating a large crowd, the location for tonight’s Allegany Town Board meeting has been moved to the Senior Center on Birch Run Road. The hot topic on the agenda is whether the Board will approve an alternate route for the transportation of wind turbine construction materials. EverPower Wind plans to build a 29-turbine wind farm. It’s already received approval for the project…but there’s still debate over which routes the company can use to transport the 8500 truckloads of materials needed.
