COLLINS CENTER – On January 11th Troopers arrested 19yr old Brittanie Ras of Dutch Hill Rd in West Valley for Driving Under the Influence of Drugs. Ms. Ras was reported to be driving erratically on St Rte 39, between Collins and Collins Center. The driver of a vehicle following her called 911 but before police could respond, she drove off the road and struck a utility pole near Jennings Rd. Troopers and Erie County Sheriff’s Deputies responded, along with rescue personnel, and found Ms. Ras was not seriously injured. She was interviewed and failed several field sobriety tests given to her by Troopers. Ms. Ras was then transported back to SP Collins, where a State Police Drug Recognition Expert preformed an evaluation on her, and found her to be under the influence of prescription drugs. She is due in Collins Town Court later this month.
