A city of Buffalo man was shot several times and flown by Mercy Flight to ECMC late Friday according to city of Salamanca Police.
Officials say Vincent E. Harris, 22, was shot in a residence at 532 East State Street. He escaped the home by jumping out a window and running down the street where he got a ride to New Street in the city.
Police and EMS were notified of the shooting and Harris was airlifted to the hospital.
Police were unable to locate anyone at the home of the shooting. The scene is secured where evidence is being collected and the investigation is ongoing.
