An Olean woman faces multiple counts following her arrest by Sheriff’s Deputies Wednesday. 36-year old Amy Buchanan was charged with Welfare Fraud, Grand Larceny and offering a false statement. Investigators said Buchanan did not report accurate wages to social services and as a result, received $8,600 in Day Care assistance she was not entitled to. She’ll answer the charges in city court December 20th.
