OLEAN, NY-- Optometrist Dr. Tracy Ludden envisioned operating her own optometry business for awhile. So, when the opportunity to buy Morgan Optical occurred she assumed ownership on December 1 and has already made some significant enhancements to the practice.
Tracy Ludden, O.D. not only changed the company logo and name to Enchanted Mountain Eyecare, but she plans to upgrade the 3,000 square-foot facility located at 912 West State Street in Olean while continuing to operate the office at 8 Chestnut Street in Bradford, Pennsylvania.
The Olean native and graduate of Jamestown Community College and University of Pittsburgh at Bradford spent the past 16 years working for multiple retail offices and Morgan Optical after graduating from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.
"I'm thrilled to offer patients the high-quality service and professionalism that they deserve," said Dr. Ludden. "The team at Enchanted Mountain Eyecare is committed to providing upbeat, friendly, helpful service in a family-oriented environment."
Enchanted Mountain Eyecare is a full-scale optometric practice that offers comprehensive eye exams, treatment, diagnosis, in addition to care for diabetic vision disorders, eye allergies and minor ocular emergencies.
"We plan to upgrade our frame selection, so we can provide extremely good quality, affordable eye care for the entire family, from children to adults of all ages," Dr. Ludden said.
She said her staff of four professionals have more than 40 years of combined experience between them, which sets Enchanted Mountain Eyecare apart from many others.
"I've selected the cream of the crop as far as staff," said Dr. Ludden. "I want people to have a positive experience and feel confident in our commitment to their eyecare needs," she said. "That's the way it should be, so that's our goal."
