Addison man arrested after leading PA Troopers on chase into NY

 A domestic incident that originated in Lawrenceville, Pa. at about 9:30 this morning, resulted in a high speed pursuit by Pennsylvania authorities into New York, and an armed standoff that lasted approximately 4 hours. Raymond L. Enderle, age 57, of #614 Ct. Rt. #85, Addison, N.Y., was involved in a domestic incident at a residence in Lawrenceville, that involved the discharge of a handgun. Pennsylvania State Police, in conjunction with other Pennsylvania authorities, pursued Enderle to his residence on Ct. Rt. #85 in the Town of Tuscarora, where he barricaded himself inside. Members of the New York State Police, including Crisis Negotiators and Members of the Special Operations Response Team (S.O.R.T) responded to the scene and commenced negotiations. After a dialogue lasting approximately 4 hours, Enderle surrendered without incident.
As a result of facing multiple charges in Pennsylvania, Enderle was charged in New York as a Fugitive From Justice; arraigned in the Town of Lindley Court; and remanded to the Steuben Co. Jail pending extradition proceedings. Pennsylvania charges include Burglary, Criminal Attempted Burglary; Terroristic Threats with Intent to Terrorize Another; Unlawful Restraint; Recklessly Endangering Another; Fleeing/Attempting to Elude and Officer; Harassment; and Criminal Mischief to Property.
