State police don’t know if a possible attempted abduction in Cattaraugus County is related to similar incidents in Wyoming County. The latest incident occurred about 7:30 p.m. Sunday near Farmersville Station. A man approached a teenage male and tried to convince him to get in a car. The vehicle was described as a smaller-model, two-door white car with a black spoiler. Two similar incidents occurred last month in Wyoming County.
In the first incident, a suspicious man in a white car approached a teenage girl on in Castile. The second happened a week later in Perry, when a man apparently tried to lure a 12-year-old boy at a vacant house.
