State Police arrested Joseph Goodwill, 49, of Falconer and Charles Legg, 38, of Leon for Burglary in the 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd. Following an investigation, it was found that the 2 men had taken between $19,000 and $21,000 cash from a worksite in Ellington. A truck that was purchased for $2,000 and $14,540 cash was able to be recovered. $9,000 of it was found to be buried at a location in Leon. Goodwill and Legg were arraigned in Ellery and remanded to Chautauqua County jail in lieu of $5,000 bail, $10,000 bond and have a future court date in Ellington.
