Theft at Walmart

Sheriff's deputies arrested 19-year old Matthew Mowery, S 9th Street, Olean. Mowery was arrested at the Allegany Walmart after he set off the Electronic Article Surveillance alarms at an exit. Deputies were already at the store and witnessed the incident. Police they discovered the man had "five pockets literally stuffed with stolen merchandise." Arraigned in court, Mowery was sent to jail on $250 bail. The incident occurred this morning at 1:30 am.
