The Finance Committee of the Cattaraugus County Legislature on Wednesday will discuss overriding the state imposed 2% property tax cap. A resolution seeking a local law is now being considered. A public hearing may be held on November 22nd to seek public comment.
The Olean Common Council meets tonight. One agenda item includes a public transportation funding agreement between the city, St. Bonaventure university, Cattaraugus county and Cattaraugus Rehabilitation Center, inc..
The city will seek state DOT funding to support the Olean Area Transportation System (OATS)
