Cattaraugus County court report

Lori Pettit Rieman, Cattaraugus County District Attorney, reported the following activity in Cattaraugus County Court on Monday, November 28, 2011:


     AARON M. RAYNOR, d/o/b 11/24/1987, of Olean, New York, but presently incarcerated in the Cattaraugus County Jail, was arraigned and entered a plea of not guilty to an indictment that charges him with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree (C felonies) and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree (D felonies).  The Indictment charges that on or about January 5, 2011 and January 7, 2011, in the City of Olean, the defendant, along with a co-defendant, possessed and sold Hydrocodone pills.  The matter was adjourned for motions.

     MINDY M. CHMIELEWSKI, d/o/b 12/5/1986, of Dayton, New York, was arraigned and entered a plea of not guilty to an indictment that charges her with Grand Larceny in the Third Degree (D felony).  The Indictment charges that between November 19, 2010 through December 10, 2010, in the Town of Persia, the defendant stole property in an amount exceeding $3,000.00.  The matter has been adjourned for motions.

     BRIAN P. BLASDELL, d/o/b 6/26/1985, of Collins, New York, was arraigned and entered a plea of not guilty to an indictment that charges him with Rape in the Third Degree (E felony) and Assault in the Third Degree (A misdemeanor).  The Indictment charges that on or about November 25, 2010, in the Town of Little Valley, the defendant engaged in sexual intercourse with another person without their consent and recklessly caused injury to another person.  The matter has been adjourned for motions.



     JOSEPH DUHAN, d/o/b 7/14/1989, of Salamanca, New York, and TRAVIS GILBERT, d/o/b 9/13/1988, of Salamanca, New York, were arraigned and entered a plea of not guilty to an indictment that charges them with Burglary in the Third Degree (D felony) and Petit Larceny (A misdemeanor).  The Indictment charges that on or about April 28, 2011, in the Town of Great Valley, the defendants, acting jointly, knowingly entered or remained unlawfully in a dwelling with intent to commit a crime therein and stole property.  The matters have been adjourned for motions.

MILENA SHERWOOD, d/o/b 10/02/1983, of Great Valley, entered a plea of guilty to Attempted Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree (E felony).  The incident occurred on or about October 23, 2010, in the City of Olean, when the defendant attempted to possess Hydrocodone.  Sentencing is scheduled for January 30, 2012.
