BLOOD DRIVE TUESDAY AT HOLY REDEEMER IN WARREN 11-6 BLOOD DRIVE WEDNESDAY AT RIDGWAY COURT HOUSE ANNEX 10-4

The Community Blood Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania is already preparing for the holidays by holding two crucial blood drives in the region that are open to all donors to make sure there is plenty of blood for the Thanksgiving holiday. Blood supply levels are safe but they are about 15% lower than they were last year at this time so it is more important to get good participation at these drives.

The Community Blood Bank of NW PA is holding a blood drive on Tuesday, November 15th from 11 to 6pm at the Holy Redeemer Church on Pennsylvania Avenue in Warren.  Walk-ins welcome. No appointment needed to save a life.

The Community Blood Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania is holding a community blood drive at the Courthouse annex (300 Center St) in Ridgway, Wednesday November 16th from 10am to 4pm. The blood drive is open to anyone who would like to donate.

"We are expecting a tough holiday season," said Dan Desrochers, Director of Marketing at the Community Blood Bank. "And hunting season starts right after that so we are encouraging everyone who can to please give blood."
