Alleged welfare fraud

Cattaraugus County authorities have charged a woman with welfare fraud. 41-year-old Becky Livingston is accused of receiving nearly 15-hundred dollars from the Cattaraugus County Department of Social Services for day care assistance from someone other than the approved provider and requesting pay for time when she was not actually at work.  Along with welfare fraud, she's charged with grand larceny, 4 counts of offering a false instrument for filing and 2 counts of forgery.  Livingston's scheduled to appear at the City of Olean Court on Dec. 6.
