Deputies arrested Joel A. Pratz, 24 of Olean, on a Cattaraugus County Village of Portville Violation of Probation warrant Sunday evening. Pratz was apprehended in the City of Glean and turned over to Deputies. He was arraigned in Town of Glean Court and then taken to the Cattaraugus County Jail where he is held in lieu of $1,000.00 bail to appear in court at a later date.
On 10/08/2011 at 11:O4pm, Edward S. Casey Jr, 45, of Lakeview, NY, was arrested for DWI, refusal to
take a breath test, fail to maintain lane, and improper use of highbeams after a traffic stop on Rt. 242 in
the Town of Mansfield. He was arraigned in the Town of Ellicottville Court, and remanded to
Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $700 bail.

Douglas I. Phillippi, 42 of Franklinville, NY was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Failure to
Keep Right after Deputies observed the Phillipp| travailing south crossing into the oncoming lane. He
was administered SFST and determined to be intoxicated. After processing Phillipp! was released and
is due back in the Town of Great Valley Court.

Laurie A. Oakes, 43 of Salamanca NY was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated BAG +.08, Failure to
Keep Right, and Improper use of High Beams. Deputies observed Oakes travailing on Broadway Road
with her high beams on as she approached oncoming traffic, she had then crossed into the oncoming

aggravated unlicenced operation 3rd, and fail to keep right, after a traffic stop on Martin Road in the

Wright of Clean was walking westbound on the railroad tracks in Weston Mills toward Clean when he
was snacked from behind and stabbed in the neck with a knife, then robbed of his personal belongings.
Shawn D Wright was transported to ECMC for treatment of injuries. The Sheriff s Office is continuing
the investigation into the incident.
