Budget talks continue for the Salamanca City school district tonight. The Board of Education will meet at 6:30pm…at its last meeting, the district was considering cutting 12 teaching positions and more than a dozen positions district wide. The district has been facing a budget gap…and the school’s Superintendent said the only thing left to cut was staff or programs. The Board will also consider granting tenure to nine teachers.
