The Cuba-Rushford school district is expected to vote tonight on whether or not to close its Rushford campus. The measure is being considered in an attempt to close a multi-million budget gap. An alternate option would include cutting most music and sports programs. The issue has struck a nerve in the two communities. About 75 students would be impacted if the Rushford campus closes. Administrators appear to be leaning toward the building closure as the most effective way to ease the fiscal troubles.
