Women’s Basketball Faces Saint Joseph’s In A-10 Semifinals

March 3, 2012 Championship Notes   PHILADELPHIA – The top-seeded St. Bonaventure women's basketball team (28-2) will face fifth-seeded Saint Joseph's (21-9) on its home floor on Sunday at Noon in one Semifinal of the 2012 Buick Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship. The Bonnies, who have won a program-record 17 straight games, advanced to the semis for the first time in program history with a 68-53 Quarterfinal win over La Salle on Saturday afternoon. Saint Joe's defeated fourth-seeded Richmond, 69-57, in the game immediately following SBU's to move on to the Semifinal. The Brown and White defeated the Hawks earlier this year, 68-61, at the Reilly Center in January. The game will be broadcast nationally on CBS Sports Network.
