Salamanca man arrested for allegedly ignoring police

Sheriff's Deputies arrested 19-year old Andrew Skye of Salamanca following a short foot chase on Jimerstown Road. Deputies say Skye had fled the scene of an assault complaint on Catherine Drive in Salamanca. When stopped by police, they say he continued to ignore their commands and attempted to kick in a door at a residence. He was eventually taken into custody without incident. Police also discovered he was on parole. He was ordered held at the county jail on $500 bail. He'll return to court March 5
