It looks like a summer school program will be offered at the Kane Area school district. The Board gave the green light for the five week session…provided the district receives $42,000 in funding from the federal government. About 100 students in Pre-K through 4th grade are expected to attend, beginning June 18th. Administrators say they had planned on cancelling the program because of a lack of funds.
