Ripley Man Struck by a Train

A local man is injured after being hit by a train Tuesday night at the South State Street rail road crossing in Ripley. Chautauqua County sheriff deputies say that 23 year-old Timothy Luke Jr. was crossing the tracks when he was struck by a Norfolk-Southern train. He was taken to UPMC-Hamot for treatment for a serious leg injury.
