The
alleged killer of Clymer school superintendent Keith Reed Jr. is fighting
extradition from his Virginia home to New York state. Anthony
Taglianetti yesterday refused to waive his right to an extradition
hearing. Consequently a hearing will be set up to review Taglianetti’s extradition to Chautauqua County to face second-degree murder charges.
Chautauqua County Sheriff Joseph Gerace tells news media the hearing in
Virginia could delay Taglienetti’s return to New York by at least a month. They also have new evidence coming to light in regards to the Clymer Superintendent case. Surveillance video caught suspect Taglienetti at the Clymer school building looking for Reed a few days
before Reed’s body was found outside his Clymer home. Witnesses say that
Tagilenetti gained access to the building, was never asked to sign in and was
asking a secretary for a substitute teacher application. It is now known Taglienetti was using this as an excuse to
get more information on Reed.
